My modification of the Zedokai Dark (Filter Machine) theme as separate extension has been merged into the Zed extensions repo. It is now available as zedokai-darkest-machine in the extensions list.

And it looks like this:

The main difference from the original is the darker background for better contrast, and the tags are now green instead of red. Overall, I feel pretty comfortable with these colors - except perhaps for the yellow strings, which I might change in the near future.
